It's been a long time since i published my last blog post. I have been very busy in my work these past few months. Although I travelled one waterfalls in june and one in July, I have no time to post my experience here in my blog.
I'm just dropping by...actually, I'm busy today finishing my report for tommorow.
I'll try to post my trips anytime soon.

Bobo'ong falls
T minus 3 weeks ago, we have a plan to conquer again another falls. A waterfalls that no one of us know about where to start hiking, how far it is. We just know that in a certain baranggay, Brgy. Ilomavis, there is a falls. At T minus 2 hours, we arrive at Lake Agco, where we can search for a guide. We waited and ask different residents there who can guide us to the falls. Until, one resident help us find our guide. Then at T minus 1 hour, we started hiking an 80 degree 50 meter upslope then going down 80 degree 500 meter downslope and cross a rushing river. After we cross the Marble river, there where no trail anymore because it is quite sometime that the falls where visited, the guide said. We jumped, slide (most of us) and even crawl(ate.hehe.) to reach the falls. At T equals swimming in the falls' vicinity, we take pictures chilling because the area is so cold because of the mist of the rushing water. We spend time there to be drunk, "by che2x.hahaha".
It was really a good hike, it released my work-tensions and drop a couple of sweats.
Bongolanon Falls
Two falls

To refresh..
Pag mata nako ganina buntag, nahiubos ko sa pagbasa sa inbox sa akong cellphone. Gi text dayon nako akong strolling buddy, che2x para lagaw lagaw mi. Nakita mn namo sa internet dati n naa daw falls sa Balabag, kaya mao n to ron among tumong. Mao n pud na nga falls among adtoan sunod ug kadtong bata gihapon among guide.
Busay Falls (Perez, Kidapawan)
Lapaan Falls
Kamandag Falls 3, Makilala
Our third trip to Kamandag is the best. Aside from the beauty of the falls, the trail is also exciting. I rode a horse plus trekking the trail for almost 2 hours.
Kamandag Falls 2, Makilala
We arrive at crossing Old Bulatukan around 9am and we started to walk immediately to Sitio Darapuay which is 4 km away and almost 45 minutes hike. On hour first trip, we hike it for one hour and for our 3rd trip, we did it for less than 45 minutes. But as we arrive at the Sitio, no one could guide us because most of the people there have work during morning. After we decided that we go for it on our own, Kgd Clarito barred us from going to the waterfalls because it is so far and there is a great probability that we will be lost. Then, she called his son and his nephews to guide us.
The First waterfall we saw is 1 hour and 30 minutes hike where you could encounter 90 degree slopes going down. It was so amazing, we arrive at the head of the falls and did have no chance to see the bootom because it is so high, about 100 ft. After a minute, we start hiking again to the second falls. It is near for only about 15 minute hike. We ate there and explore the beuty of it. The falls is only about 20-30 feet high and you can climb to it through rocks beside it. You can jump from top to bottom but at first im so hesitant to jump it because it is high.
The 3rd waterfall is only about 30 meters away but it takes time to reach it because you'll cross the river using "baging" at the river bank. the falls is twin, although small, 10-15feet, but it is stronger.

Kamandag Falls, Makilala
Old Bulatukan is 2 hours away from Davao City or 20 minutes away from Kidapawan City (the nearest city). If you are from Davao City, you can stop in the crossing after the boy scout camp or in crossing in front of MAABC (Mt. Apo Aliance Bible College) and ride a motorcycle(habal-habal) going to sitio Kamandag. The nearest falls is 30-minute hike from the road accessible by the motocycle. It is recommended that you will get a guide in residents there because the falls are hidden and for security reasons. From the first falls you will visit, it will take another 5 hours to view all the 5 falls. You will trek the path of the river, jump to the falls of about 5m to reach to the other falls. The tallest falls is about 20m high and it is not accessible to the bottom.
Cost Budget:
Fare(from Old Bulatukan) = P100 (back and forth)
Guide = depends on you (100 is enough)
. P100 + + food
Trail Summary:
9am = arrival in Old Bulatukan
10am = arrival in the first falls
4pm = time to leave
Mt. Apo
First Day. 8am from Lake Agco
In Kidapawan, the best starting point is the City Investments and Tourism Office located at city Plaza to have a registration and briefing for the climb. Registration fee is P250 if student or 500 if professional. Assuming that you are from Davao, take a ride of either Weena bus in Ecoland or Van in SM City and stop at the Kidapawan City Plaza. From City Investments, take a tricycle to the motorcycle(habal-habal) terminal bound for Lake Agco(a hot spring), Ilomavis. The ride will take 20-30 minutes in a limestoned road. Lake Agco guards can provide registered porters if you wish to. Porters cost P250 per day for a 30-kilo baggage. From Lake Agco, the nearest campsite is ____ which is 4 hours away. There's no much attration at the campsite, just at least 200 sq.mtr of flat space and a potable water. But on the trail, you'll cross the raging marble river and cool koong creek. Marble river can't be cross if there is heavy rain that will cause floods. I would suggest to beat the Venado camp site rather than staying at _____campsite. Venado campsite is only 7-8 hours of hike from Lake Agco so it's recommended that you should start hiking before 9 am at Lake Agco. The trail to Venado has a 90-degree stiff which you should grasp to roots of the trees and be cautious to your step as there are cliffs beside the trail.
Second Day. 9am
Venado is the 2nd campsite which is 7,200 feet above sea level. The area of Venado can hold as much 100 mountainers and has a potable drinking water. You can take a bath at the lake however, be cautious because the lake is undercurrent. It will only take 3 hours from the Venado to Peak. The peak is also a campsite which can also hold many mountainers.
And around 12 noon, Alas!!you did it!
Cost Budget:
Registration: 500
Porter: 250 x 3 = 750
Fare: to Lake Agco = 150 (Back and Forth)
1400 + food
Trail Summary:
9am = arrival in lake Agco
5pm = arrival in Lake Venado
9am = start climb to peak
12nn = Peak
*you can arrive early if you walk faster and less rest
