Silence

It's been a long time since i published my last blog post. I have been very busy in my work these past few months. Although I travelled one waterfalls in june and one in July, I have no time to post my experience here in my blog.

I'm just dropping by...actually, I'm busy today finishing my report for tommorow.

I'll try to post my trips anytime soon.

Bobo'ong falls

T minus 3 weeks ago, we have a plan to conquer again another falls. A waterfalls that no one of us know about where to start hiking, how far it is. We just know that in a certain baranggay, Brgy. Ilomavis, there is a falls. At T minus 2 hours, we arrive at Lake Agco, where we can search for a guide. We waited and ask different residents there who can guide us to the falls. Until, one resident help us find our guide. Then at T minus 1 hour, we started hiking an 80 degree 50 meter upslope then going down 80 degree 500 meter downslope and cross a rushing river. After we cross the Marble river, there where no trail anymore because it is quite sometime that the falls where visited, the guide said. We jumped, slide (most of us) and even crawl(ate.hehe.) to reach the falls. At T equals swimming in the falls' vicinity, we take pictures chilling because the area is so cold because of the mist of the rushing water. We spend time there to be drunk, "by che2x.hahaha".

It was really a good hike, it released my work-tensions and drop a couple of sweats.

Bongolanon Falls

Where it all started.

Our first destination for the first week of the year was the Bongolanon. It is located at Magpet, North Cotabato that is fully accessible to SUV, AUV, Pick-ups and motorcycles. Some of the road going there is not limestoned which is slippery when rain comes. Most motorcycles don't dare to reach the destination if the road is wet like in our case, although we ride a motorcycle, we are forced to hike to reach to destination. Cottages are present in the falls area as well as restrooms and a small sari-sari store. As far as the amenities is concern, this is the only developed falls that we visited. At the top of the falls is a boulder that is big enough to handle all the river.

Two falls

To refresh..

Nakita mn namo sa internet dati n naa daw falls sa Balabag, kaya mao n to ron among tumong. Mao n pud na nga falls among adtoan sunod ug kadtong bata gihapon among guide.

Busay Falls (Perez, Kidapawan)

We're lost...

We are searching for the falls that our friend told us but we are unable to find it. Our guide directed us to the falls which is near to their house, around 30 minutes hike. there are two cascading falls we found. The first is about 30 feet and the second is about 50 feet. Although the water is not so good, not cold and not drinkable, we found our excited on the trail. We make our way to the falls. The trek is almost 90 degree slope with no hard trees to grab on, only shrubs. Actually, our guide forgot the trail because nobody is coming there, except us.

Lapaan Falls

so fresh...so cold..

Its the spring that supplies the water of whole kidapawan. The Metro Kidapawan Water District's pipelines protrudes as you are going down to the falls. It is just less than an hour hike from the nearest accesible road but in our case, we hiked for to almost two hours because the tricycle we rode had trouble so are forced to hike. If you're riding a "skylab", just tell the driver that you are about to go to "dam falls", "Lapaan falls". The skylab cost Php30 per pereson and 12 pesos if tricycle but far from falls.
